These are a few of my images from Round 2 which just occured on Feb 18, 2012.

Left Image is the gust front that went though the area at about 3:25PM with winds that reached on my hand held wind meter 65mph.

Right Side: Made me think that it was the end of the world with a little mix of green, dark black and sinking clouds again.

Storm Chase 2012: Round 1

I took these images from earlier this year during our 1st Severe Weather Event of the season. On the left you have well pronounced "Mamatus Clouds" on the right I was trying to zoom in on the area of sinking. The clouds were sinking towards the surface and it was a great feeling to see these clouds knowing something had to happen soon.

Ice Making 2012: Mississippi Gulf Coast

This is the final result of my Ice Quest 2012. I wanted to make ice to go fishing on in Southern Mississippi. So on Feb 12 when the temps reached 28F. I filled my wheelbarrow with water and woke up in the morning to "Mission Accomplished" No fish though. But the Ice came in at about 2.5inches it was great.
